Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) is a local authority which administers Ampang, Ulu Klang and other areas. This agency is under the Selangor state government. MPAJ is responsible for public health and sanitation, waste removal and management, social and economic development and general maintenance of urban infrastructure.
