Putra Science Park (PSP) is the center for UPM innovation management or technology transfer office (TTO) for Universiti Putra Malaysia that supports technology transfer activities in UPM by moving the potential technologies and research from the laboratory to the market.

Putra Science Park (PSP) has been rebranded as UPM technology transfer center in 2010 from UPM Innovation and Commercialization Center (ICC) which was established on 1 April 2006.

PSP plays a vital role in helping secure and protect UPM’s innovation through Intellectual Property protection and identifies appropriate strategies for commercialization of the Intellectual Property.

PSP also promotes the potential of technologies through various channels such as publication, exhibition, showcase, press conferences and business matching programs with industry.

In addition, PSP enhanced technology transfer activities to the Malaysian industries through the Incubation hub (INNOHUB) development to nurture and develop technology entrepreneurship in the university as a start-up company.

Instead of technology transfer activities, PSP through the EDU-PARK unit makes UPM the first university in Malaysia to offer Edu-tourism packages to visitors, focusing on several attractive locations around campus.

All PSP staff are committed to managing the university’s innovations that will impact the country’s social and economic growth.

UPM PSP is also a member of the Innovation Technology Managers Association ITMA since 2014.
