The main purpose of establishing TERAS is to assist in the distribution of zakat and TERAS has been entrusted to manage the grants provided efficiently and effectively. Among the activities of TERAS are developing businesses forAsnaf entrepreneurs’ by providing entrepreneurship training and capital assistance. In addition, TERAS also provides school clothing for asnaf’s children and distributes basic food necessities to the asnaf poor and needy in the state of Selangor

Business Development Sector is responsible for:

• Producing self-reliant, proactive, and charismatic Asnaf through capital assistance and monitoring
• Providing advisory and coaching services as well as monitoring entrepreneurs’ businesses
• Preparing and conducting entrepreneurship courses

Logistic and Services Sector is responsible for:

• Providing basic food delivery services under the programs or initiatives of Lembaga Zakat Selangor

Sewing Services Sector is responsible for:

• Producer and supplier of school uniforms
• Conducting sewing courses and training under the Pusat Latihan Jahitan TERAS
